Farewell, Chicken

March 1, 2010 at 2:15 am 166 comments

The Chicken has flown the coop. The Poop is no more.

Hell must have frozen over. It’s the most likely explanation I’ve come to.

Words can only begin to convey my thoughts when I clicked over to read Chicken Liver’s Farewell as she shuts down Poop on Peeps. Flabbergasted. Astounded. Delirious. Delighted. Even though I knew she couldn’t continue forever, I never really saw this coming. Not the way it has happened, with the explanations she has given. Or lack of explanations, however you want to look at it.

Her stated reasons for closing down the Poop don’t really ring true for me.  I’m sorry for any personal drama and family problems she has, but to use that as an explanation to quite suddenly close up shop? It’s not like she suddenly grew a family and had no time to blog. She always had a family that she always claimed was not impacted by her blogging time. She says ” it would really kill me to be spending my time here when I should be improving myself for my son”.  If that was the case, she’d be dead now, considering she’s been devoting her time to shitting on others for three years. Shitting on others, at times, for spending too much time online, away from their families.  She says “You don’t know how much it would kill me to be a hypocrite.”   Really, Chick? She embodied hypocrisy with her Poop. She made vicious attacks on many bloggers, incited hatred, encouraged cyberbullying. A marshmallow heart? Please. The Grinch analogy is more apt.

I think real life caught up to her and bit her on the ass.  Once her real name was out there, the pressure started to mount, culminating in the threat of legal action by Sandi Benson. Which may yet have been less threats and more action, for all we know.  My guess is that even the threat of legal action may have put the brakes on for her. Even if her family supported her blog, they would balk at the notion of coughing up legal fees. And, who knows, maybe having the tables turned on her by Sandi really did have a eye-opening effect.

Bottom line?  The Wicked Chick of the West is gone. Her Chicklets have lost their leader. She’s done, her power, such as it was, is over.

Raise a glass high and join me in a toast to the demise of Poop on Peeps.

forgive me for sounding so ignorant, but legal action for what? Talking shit and posting full names and addresses?

  • 2. The Queen B  |  March 1, 2010 at 2:41 am

    Intrigued,
You would really have to ask Sandi Benson about that. All I can tell you is that she posted about having lawyers in place, but has since removed that post. She never exactly said exactly what her plan was.

  • 3. pmc  |  March 1, 2010 at 2:54 am

Cheers and Amen. I hope she gets the help she needs and now that her name is out there ad infinitim; I hope she does become a better person for her son…though I think her own self-inflicted damage to herself is long term and probably permanent. Good ridance, Michele McBee…we’re glad we hardly knew you.

  • 4. buhbyeCL  |  March 1, 2010 at 6:45 am

I’m not going to reveal who I am, but CL has been harassing me by sending magazine subscriptions and all sorts of garbage in the mail for the past year. I’ve reported her several times to the Post Master General’s office, and since she’s sending things over state lines, forging my name, and other illegal things, they have set about prosecuting her. And nobody deserves it more than ShellyBeans.

I’ve been actually reading and observing this all the way from Malaysia. 🙂 All I could think of is how dangerous blogging-moms territory is in the U.S!

  • 6. Karen  |  March 1, 2010 at 3:58 pm

Could not have said it better, I am raising my glass with you. So glad her “crusade” to save all the innocent children is over. I’m sure her chicklets will continue. Hopefully with her gone, they will keep to themselves.

It’s a good day in the neighborhood.

  • 7. Amelia  |  March 1, 2010 at 4:29 pm

Glad to hear she’s stopped spouting hate.

  • 8. kelly  |  March 1, 2010 at 5:21 pm

    cheers! and good riddance.

  • 9. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 6:20 pm

Best to silence all dissenting opinions I suppose, right?

  • 10. Allison  |  March 1, 2010 at 6:45 pm

What CL engaged in was not dissention – if it were simply dissention I don’t think anyone would have had issue with her. She instead engaged often in a campaign of hate – advocating the use of not notes on message boards but nasty emails to the writers of the blogs – all over such hot button issues as she’s forcing her kid to eat mashed potatoes and gasp – she loves one more than the other!!! I am glad she is gone – I quit reading her site a little over 6 months ago…But you know that some of her sheeple will just pick up the reigns and start another site.

  • 11. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:16 pm

Allison- I believe you’re mistaken. From what I read, she did neither. And it’s pretty myopic of you to assume that none of this stems from the simple fact that some of those women just can’t handle dissenting opinion, even if it’s located somwhere other than their personal blog. Actually, no, I believe you’re aware of that but refuse to admit it.

  • 12. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:25 pm

“From what I read, she did neither.”

This is your brain on stupid.

  • 13. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:26 pm

Why are you wasting your time with my stupid comments? Move along.

  • 14. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:46 pm

It took me less than a minute to read and respond to your asinine comment.

Perhaps you are projecting a waste of time because you have to move your lips while you stumble over simple English?

P.S. You reek of chicken shit. Gee, I wonder why?

    ;-}

  • 15. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:51 pm

    I stumbled? Re-read what I wrote, Algernon.

  • 16. tbr  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:51 pm

jules – she did both. you either know this, and are lying. or are completely misinformed.

“dissenting opinions” are awesome. that’s what conversation is about. cl generated and perpetuated hate. imho, because she’s a jealous, bitter woman. and not because she was the free voice of mommies everywhere.

  • 17. Overjoyed  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:52 pm

I was amazed at the level of self-adulation and self-congratulations in the farewell note — it was gag-worthy.

  • 18. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 7:54 pm

tbr- It’s definitely possible that I was misinformed.

  • 19. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 1, 2010 at 8:23 pm

    “I stumbled? Re-read what I wrote, Algernon.”

Here we have a prime example of why I will never send my children to public schools.

  • 20. The Queen B  |  March 1, 2010 at 8:25 pm

Jules – Dissenting opinions are awesome. I live for a great debate, and love to see and hear other sides of any equation. It’s just my belief that Chick wasn’t truly interested in dissention. She mocked and ridiculed anyone who stood up to her, and then simply would stop posting dissenting replies. Ask around, there are many, many people who can attest to the fact that she never cleared their comments. She admitted several times to doing just that. So, please explain to me how Poop on Peeps was ever about dissenting opinions?

  • 21. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 8:34 pm

The Queen B- She was under no obligation to clear all comments. Just like Dooce and PW do on their blogs. But you know just as well as I do that there were tons of supporters posting over there and their comments were visible. CL offered people a place to share their thoughts about other bloggers. Some of those thoughts and comments were negative; hence the “dissenting opinion”. Not sure how you could miss that general concept.

  • 22. The Queen B  |  March 1, 2010 at 8:56 pm

Jules – I agree wholeheartedly. It was her blog, and as such, she can, and did, control the flow of comments. It hasn’t occured yet, but I’m sure there may be a time that I will refuse to let a comment through. We all have limits. That’s a basic concept, and trust me, I didn’t miss it.

The truth, however, is that she didn’t allow all comments, even though she assured her readers many times that she posted everything that didn’t reveal personal info. Her readers never knew how many comments she didn’t approve. They never knew what she didn’t want them to read. The Chicklets have repeatedly trumpeted that she did allow commentors to have their say, but it’s clear and obvious this is not the truth.

Sharing thoughts about what is happening in the blogosphere is a great concept. There are many blogs and bloggers that are conversation worthy. Hell, I originally started this blog because I wanted somewhere to say what was on my mind. There’s a big difference between rational debate on an issue, though, and what Chick and her Chicklets did to fellow bloggers.

We could debate this till the end of time, and clearly, it won’t make a difference. Ardent supporters of Chick and her hate are not going to be swayed by any amount of debate. You have your opinions, and I respect that. Please understand that I, and others here, have a different opinion, and please respect our right to that opinion.

  • 23. Jules  |  March 1, 2010 at 9:03 pm

Queen B- Understood, nice chatting with you.

  • 24. Em  |  March 1, 2010 at 9:31 pm

she blocked me. wasn’t even a nasty comment but it didnt make it through , it pointed out where i felt she was wrong but not in a nasty way.

  • 25. Texas  |  March 1, 2010 at 9:39 pm

Personally – I am glad to see that all the CRAP that I left in comments over there is now *POOF*
Wish I could take some back from a few other places.
Not wishing this place to close (Glad to see you back) but this is one of the places I’d like to erase several of my past comments!!!

  • 26. The Queen B  |  March 1, 2010 at 9:58 pm

    Texas,
I’m sure you are glad that the Poop is gone, but I wouldn’t quite count on your comments being gone. Everyone knows (Chick said it often enough) that anything on the internet is there forever. Even though Poop on Peeps archives are not available through the site, they are still available in Google cache. I know for a fact that there are people out there with EVERY entry and comment saved. Nothing ever goes away.

It’s good to see you here, though, and as I said to you before, I’m very happy for you that you saw the light and backed away. If it’s not asking too much, I’d love for you to tell others here why you decided to cut ties with the Chicken.

Posting our personal account of our Chicken Liver experiences maybe will deter another from starting a Poop on Everyone 2.0. Unfortunately, there are likely folks thinking of that exact scenario right now.

  • 27. The Queen B  |  March 1, 2010 at 10:02 pm

    Em,
I have heard from so many people about similar experiences. It’s one thing to implement a comment policy and stick by it, but way too many people have had on topic comments not approved simply because they didn’t agree with her.

  • 28. Nonchalant  |  March 1, 2010 at 10:07 pm

So no one in particular is stepping out of the woodwork to take credit for her disappearance? I suppose until and unless that happens we will just have to buy Chick’s explanation and leave it at that.

Jules, I am one of the commentators who had comments not put through. I never said anything about anyone’s children nor did I give out personal information in those comments. Chick just wasn’t interested in putting out my dissenting opinion. I think the point is not whether she had the RIGHT to moderate out certain comments, of course she did. The point is her obvious hypocrisy in stating many times that she always let comments through *unless* they were saying something nasty about someone’s kid or contained personal information. Chick enjoyed being the queen of perfection. Everything SHE did in parenting, everything SHE wrote on her blog was perfect, in her eyes. Its been pointed out enough places how much utter bullshit that was.

  • 29. Nonchalant  |  March 1, 2010 at 10:27 pm

While there may well be some folks out there thinking of picking up where Chick left off, I am pretty certain there are also several well-known bloggers out there who are at this very moment engaging in spontaneous victory dances and whoops of joy. Makes me smile to think about it.

  • 30. Of course it's you, Margalit  |  March 1, 2010 at 10:45 pm

Hey, #4, so are you now blaming CL instead of Avitable for your mail issues? May I remind you of a blog post of yours from a few months past…

EDITED BY QB – This quote has been removed due to copyright violations.

  • 31. gert.  |  March 1, 2010 at 11:00 pm

texas – i would also love to hear your story!

  • 32. anonymouse  |  March 1, 2010 at 11:43 pm

CL has come and gone from the blogosphere 8 different times in ten years. She will never fully disappear. She will lurk.. stir up shit.. troll around for a while on others’ blogs.. then she’ll create a new one for herself. KNOW THIS, Michele – you won’t remain anonymous for long! You never have, and never will.

  • 33. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 2, 2010 at 3:30 am

“I wouldn’t quite count on your comments being gone.”

Bingo. Not gone. Not forgotten. Everything I copied and saved has now been passed on to the legal representation of the two invested parties. I know others have shared as well.

    More about that later. Maybe.

Margalit, I wouldn’t make any assumptions if I were you. Many, many people find you to be a thoroughly loathsome individual. With damn good reason.

While you are posting still here though, please do share the details of the resolution of your driving an unregistered vehicle with an expired license in an unsafe manner with minor children in the car case. M’kay? Thanks!

  • 34. Nonchalant  |  March 2, 2010 at 5:41 am

Joyfully Anonymous, you’re such a tease. Do I have to put out to get the scoop?

  • 35. Fighting Hypocrisy  |  March 2, 2010 at 9:58 am

CL has put a disclaimer on her site which puzzled me.

    http://74.125.153.132/search?q=cache:hlIOkK9rETIJ:www.pooponpeeps.com/index.php/blog-disclaimer-read/+site:www.pooponpeeps.com+pooponpeeps+hate&cd=29&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=au

(Not sure how long that link will work)

    It says:

“Comments on this website are the sole responsibility of their writers and the writer will take full responsibility, liability, and blame for any libel or litigation that results from something written in or as a direct result of something written in a comment. The accuracy, completeness, veracity, honesty, exactitude, factuality and politeness of comments are not guaranteed.”

Okay, I get that bit, so she is not taking any responsibility. Then she also states that:

“Any comment/email left for me becomes the sole property of me and I can edit, modify, print, shred and decorate my office with.”

How can the comments become her property which she can manipulate, yet not her responsibility?

I was curious if indeed there is a legal case against her, where she would stand.

  • 36. pmc  |  March 2, 2010 at 12:16 pm

I’ve never posted on the McBee site nor any other. In fact, i would have never known about any other site in question (except Dooce) but for Michele pointing her ugly finger their way. Here’s my questions: In a legal action, won’t the lawyers be able to get the IP addresses and then the identities of those fellow travelers of McBee? And can the more vicious attackers be exposed and/or held liable? What about the person above who admitted to help monitor Michele’s hate site–if she let through posts that are actionable, will she be found out, exposed, and held liable? There really was a mob mentality that went on there–Michele’s disgusting behavior spurred others to act in kind.

  • 37. pmc  |  March 2, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Oh and Texas, I’d like to know what triggered your change of heart for the better and Queen, I think you should publish the posts you were working on as you seem to have a knack for stimulating decent discussion…I wonder if Michele’s former followers would come to a similar conclusion as Texas if they read your voice of reason.

  • 38. Kathy W  |  March 2, 2010 at 2:04 pm

I enjoy reading a number of blogs including Dooce, PW, Amalah and others.

What always irked me about CL and her ilk was how unbelievably hateful their comments were on her site and those left on their target’s sites. How is that “for the good of the children” when the screaming hordes come out with their torches and lambast a kid’s parents day and night? The kids won’t grow up to read THAT? I’d much rather read about my poop issues as a baby than someone calling my beloved dad “Vagina Jon.”

And it is interesting to note that all the fun make-up names they’d have for their targets were bastardizations of female things. “douche” “vagina” The list goes on. Nothing like cutting the legs off feminism in one fell swoop.

And lastly, what was the big deal about PW? She’s always respectful on her blog, doesn’t swear, doesn’t take sarcastic potshots at anyone but herself, makes money hand over fist (OH—that’s right…*ding ding!* we don’t like anyone having success….that’s bad. Never be successful. And for God’s sake don’t put it on the innernetz cus you might be flaunting it.)

CL reminded me of the people (usually women) who get their knickers in a knot over some tv show that they find offensive. They first write the show and bitch and complain. Then they get all over their network and advertisers. But someone, along the line, forgot to tell them that there is this magical button on the remote called “OFF.” Unless you’re hog-tied to a chair and force-fed hours of 13 and Counting, PW or Sweetney…you really do have a choice. Surf away.

    *Sigh*

I know she’s not gone or forgotten, but I am relieved for the brief respite from the hate.

  • 39. anon  |  March 2, 2010 at 6:31 pm

I don’t know.. I read CL and I thought that some of her targets (i.e. Sandi) really were worthy targets of snark. Yes, her obsession with Dooce was annoying, but why SO MUCH hate for her? Can someone enlighten me?

  • 40. The Queen B  |  March 2, 2010 at 7:11 pm

    Fighting Hypocrisy,
I saw that a few months back, and laughed. You can’t have it both ways. The first part is a standard disclaimer, but to think you can then modify or edit?

I’m not a lawyer, nor do I play one on the internet, so I can’t really say what the ramifications could be. I’m very curious to know whether there is legal action underway.

  • 41. The Queen B  |  March 2, 2010 at 7:12 pm

    JA,

For the record, I don’t know if that was Margalit or not, but I can say it was not from the same IP.

  • 42. The Queen B  |  March 2, 2010 at 7:28 pm

    Kathy,
That is a very valid point, one that many tried to raise with the Chick. What was said about Dooce’s kid alone was worse than any account of parental oversharing I ever heard coming out of there. Don’t even get me started on the immature name calling. If you can’t make your point without degenerating into personal attacks, then perhaps you don’t have a point worth making.

As for PW, I’ve always thought she had nothing against PW other than rampant jealousy. And, of course, the realization that anything written about PW gets a shit-load of hits.

  • 43. The Queen B  |  March 2, 2010 at 7:34 pm

    PMC,
I don’t know yet if I will be posting those entries – I’ve thought about it, and I think it really falls into more of a “beating a dead horse” category. She’s gone, the site is gone, so I’m not sure what good those posts will do.

Thanks for thinking of me as a voice of reason, though. That’s appreciated. I’m not sure if the more rabid followers of Chick have much interest in reason, however. Although, I will say this – I’ve noticed a pattern through the three years of Poop. Commentors, even the really vicious ones, always seemed to fade away, to be replaced by yet another vicious commentor every few months.

  • 44. The Queen B  |  March 2, 2010 at 7:42 pm

    anon,
Yes, perhaps some of the blogs she lambasted were worthy of snark. But I think there’s a huge difference between snark and what went on over there. There were valid points about many blogs, but the methods used couldn’t ever possibly be expected to make a meaningful difference.

As for Dooce, my personal opinion is that Chick tried years ago to curry favour with Dooce, hoping to become an A-lister herself. Her advances were rejected, and insult was added when Dooce published a ranting, rambling e-mail from Chick. Maybe throw in some Mormon hate, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for Poop.

  • 45. Allison  |  March 2, 2010 at 9:05 pm

I have to agree with so much stated here – CL wanted other bloggers to censor themselves “for the good of their children” and yet never censored herself or her followers. More often than not they would come out fighting for freedom of speech completely ignoring the fact that what they actively sought to do was to take that liberty from others. It is well established that CL is/was a hypocrite….why did she think that she was the voice of morality and reason above all others? Who appointed her the queen of all that is good and right?

  • 46. anon  |  March 2, 2010 at 9:15 pm

I have seen these bloggers – not sure what to call them – hate bloggers, snark, anti-bloggers – come and go. Violent Acres, Trainwrecks, etc. Someone will become the new CL.

As for the Mormon thing – there ARE a lot of mommybloggers who are mormon….odd.

  • 47. E.  |  March 2, 2010 at 9:27 pm

CL showed her true colors when she sent Lilith (and you, I believe) legal notices that suggested that your blog was somehow putting her child(ren) in jeopardy. She either a) was lying and just trying to bully other blogs into conforming to her idea of what is acceptable content or b) was knowingly putting her children in danger by authoring POP. I sent a comment asking her to address this and she never published it. It did not have any personal information and it wasn’t rude. She just didn’t have a good answer so she was unwilling to publish.

  • 48. Fighting Hypocrisy  |  March 3, 2010 at 12:01 am

    #46

It is really sad that someone will take cue from CL and start another POP site.

What I found more scary is not just what was written on the site, but attempts like this:

Calling RSPCA on PioneerWomen for animal abuse with no basis or evidence.
Writing to Cancer Society about dropping Melissa Summer
Writing to HGTV about dooce. ( It is equivatent to writing to your employer).
I am not sure about the claim of ordering mail subscriptions as someone commented earlier.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more things in this list.

  • 49. Tammy  |  March 3, 2010 at 12:24 am

I have to agree FH. In principle, I don’t think there is anything wrong with a site that critiques other blogs, or at the very least allows dissenting opinions on other bloggers views. Hell I love a good debate.
However in PoP, there was a viciousness that is really hard to fathom. When name calling and commenting on childrens/spouses/looks is the norm, the author, as well as the commenters, start to look like rabid dogs salivating over their new target.
I have to say I am really curious as to what their home lives are really like. Are they neglected? Are they super submissive at home? Is this their outlet? I suppose it doesn’t really matter but I would love to be a fly on the wall in their worlds.
I’m also kinda surprised that Sandi hasn’t addressed the closure on her blog. Probably sick to the back teeth of it all, but I thought she would at least mention it. Unless of course she isn’t allowed to for legal reasons??

  • 50. gert.  |  March 3, 2010 at 12:31 am

tammy – i’m thinking legal reasons – a couple of comments on other posts mention it, but she doesn’t even address those.

  • 51. Hollie  |  March 3, 2010 at 12:35 am

CL refused to post my comment as well. It wasn’t anything really awful either. It was just me asking her questions about how she could possibly think that what she posted and allowed others to comment on regarding picking on children. The same children she stated she was saving. Her shleeps picked on children’s looks, and clothing, were convinced the kid was autistic, slammed their parents personal looks, and called them viscous names…and SHE allowed those comments of pure hate to go through. She was perpetrating and inciting the hate.

At the time I was researching Personality Disorders and told her how I thought she fit the diagnosis based loosely on the things I had read. I’d like to think the reason she refused to post my comment was because the truth hit home. But I doubt it. People like that have the need to be right about everything all the time.

I”m going to take a wild guess as to why why she shut her blog down.

I’m guessing that her family found out exactly what she has been up to, found it utterly disgusting and forced her to stop. Or, someone filed a lawsuit against her. How ironic would it be if she was served with a lawsuit and her husband had no idea what she’s been up to all this time.

People like her just don’t stop because they’ve”seen the light” because they can’t see past the tip of their nose. And no amount of family issues would stop them unless they are threatened with a great, big loss of some sort.

  • 52. anonymouse  |  March 3, 2010 at 2:16 am

Her husband knew exactly what she was doing. She tried adding a radio show component to her blog, and her husband introduced her at the beginning of one of the shows. It was hosted on blog talk radio. I won’t post the link here.. but it doesn’t take much digging to find it.

  • 53. anon  |  March 3, 2010 at 2:28 am

I just don’t think Sandi’s “legal action” caused CL to go. If so, Sandi would be crowing about it. Just not feeling that. But I find it so curious that she wiped her blog out completely.

  • 54. kelly  |  March 3, 2010 at 3:17 am

    Re: the disclaimer

How is it that she can retain the right to alter comments before publication, yet deflect liability to the commenter?

  • 55. warsawmommy  |  March 3, 2010 at 7:23 am

    It’s all so, so odd.

What surprised me the most was the abruptness of it all: for a site that claimed such openness and responsiveness, it strikes me as weird that the ‘Fare thee well’ post did not allow for CL’s followers to say goodbye in return. You know?

Also – why take down all the archives immediately? Why wipe out 3+ years of posts, responses, links and so on. I get how a site may become inactive, but why deny its existence at all?

The only real explanation I see is the one that seems to be the general consensus: legal woes. But I guess time will indeed tell if this is the case (Hee. That was an unintended pun… sorry!)

  • 56. Em  |  March 3, 2010 at 12:11 pm

The very fact sandi hasn’t mentioned it at all leads me to believe she kept to her word and used legal means to shut cl up. Sandi would be required by law not to mention anything that could jeopardize any court case she may have going on.
CL would not shut up shop permanently just because of family issues , she would continue to distance herself for days at a time . CL is the kind of person who loves to hate other bloggers.
Chicken Liver = great choice of name.
Sandi if you did bring her down? gratz on that cos I get the feeling you’d be crowing on your site if someone else did and if it was someone else then gratz to them too.

  • 57. anon  |  March 3, 2010 at 3:53 pm

I don’t think a legal means would have worked so quickly – or at all imo. Sandi cannot keep her mouth shut, even under legal threat. You’ll see, she’ll comment.

  • 58. Susan  |  March 3, 2010 at 9:02 pm

Have to agree with much said here and I’m glad to see POP go. It was like a train wreck I couldn’t stop looking at and I beat myself up for going over there to see who the latest victim was. Have to say I found Sandi and PW because of CL so that is nice.

The only thing I could ever figure out about why she hated PW is because PW cooked with too much butter. Couldn’t just say she would not eat all that fattening stuff but instead had to hate PW. I wonder why she didn’t trash Paula Dean as well.

Anyway, I found her kind of pathetically sad and very, very hypocritical.

She did block my comment that pointed out the that perhaps the hurt she felt when Sandi posted about CL’s truly sad loss was the same hurt Sandi felt when CL trashed Sandi and her family. Of course people like CL never look in the mirror.

I’m thinking legal reasons are the cause of the takedown.. Need to take care of her family is good reason not to blog but not good reason to remove all content.

  • 59. Texas  |  March 3, 2010 at 10:03 pm

Truth is – I quit PoP because I simply got tired of the hate. It’s EVERYWHERE. I quit more places that just PoP – for the same reason.
There are hate filled and attacking comments left here as well as on other blogs. PoP did not and never will corner the market on that. The blog world seems to feed the frenzy of hate much more than it fosters love and compassion. If the hits count is any indicator the numbers only go up as shit hits the fan.
Several blogs have gone dormant for months and then come back. This one did. Maybe PoP will, too.
There have been more than a few blogs that have closed their doors lately because of haters. I don’t think anybody should be chased off their own blog but it happens all the time.
I know this explanation won’t satisfy and may increase the ire toward me. Sometimes there is just no answer that will ever be enough to satisfy everybody.

I’ll post a more detailed explanation on my blog tomorrow. I’ve eaten up enough space here.
    Thanks,
    Texas

  • 60. Sarah  |  March 4, 2010 at 1:43 am

Everything I copied and saved has now been passed on to the legal representation of the two invested parties. I know others have shared as well.

    More about that later. Maybe.

Huh? Now it’s illegal to call someone an asshole? Or to post in the comments section of another blog that you think they have too many kids?! Get real. What was said over at PoP’s was certainly nasty, but what ‘legal action’ can be taken? Anyone remember the young girl who commited suicide over a fake Myspace page? I don’t believe those responsible even got jail time. The lucky 13 lady allowed plenty of nasty comments about CL on her blog as well as ‘outing’ her. She even posted a picture of her baby’s grave. I think the whole damn thing is a wash. The only ones who will be the better for this are the lawyers.

If you’re going to blog, either grow a thick skin or take it private. To assume that the whole world will love and adore you and to take umbrage when not everyone does is insane.

  • 61. Melissa  |  March 4, 2010 at 3:35 pm

I don’t remember the exact way I found PoP, but at first it was like a mild train wreak I couldn’t turn away from. She was mildly angry, so were a few other people, it seemed harmless.

Till it wasn’t. She and her minions in one night took down the advertising of one blogger, the blogger went underground, and everyone congratulated themselves on saving the world from the bad guys. I shook my head.

I became afraid of writing myself, even though I have all of three readers as it is, because of these people.

I am glad to see she is gone for now, and I hope she gets some help. Thanks for letting me go on so much 🙂

  • 62. Sue  |  March 4, 2010 at 3:55 pm

OK, I am loving reading through these comments, but must get back to work so will finish up later.

My first thought on PoP was that now that Heather Armstrong has a deal with HGTV, could their “people” come to CL and threatened her with legal action (cease and desist)? If someone else has already brought this up, sorry!

Cannot wait to finish reading these comments, but I don’t want to get fired;-)

BTW, Hi Texas! Good to see you here!

    Sue

Are we even sure that it was Chicken Crap that wrote the final blog? I find it hard to believe when I can’t find any spelling errors or grammatical errors that stand out like her writing did.

Sorry, I can’t/won’t help you figure things out and I believe it would be best or you to direct such questions to someone who actually has a legal background.

Someone, like, say, umm …..Michele Yoakum Bryant Rebeiro McBee.

(Those of you who have been paying attention will remember that Michele has claimed to be a law student slash art docent slash art director slash swimming pool owner slash loving stepmom slash not obese slash radio personality slash star of stage and screen slash Country Club dwelling SAHM slash God knows what all else.)

Just think of all the money she can save her little impoverished family if she provides her own legal representation.

    Yeeeee haw!

  • 65. Jules  |  March 4, 2010 at 7:21 pm

J.A.- Wow. Any comments you’ve made about people being nasty and vindictive mean absolutely nothing after that comment. Sounds like you need a vacation.

I have a new addiction and it’s costing me money!! “Tic Tacs”® I bought a big case at Costco the other night and I’ve eaten half of them already. I just spent almost $2,000 grand on dental co-pays for root canals and sealants. I’m going to chip a tooth damit, but I can’t stop. I crunch Ice, mints…anything I’m not supposed to, why is it? You’d think with it being in the high 90’s and 100’s I’d cut back on coffee nope..in fact I just bought two lbs of “Verona” from Starbucks for my iced coffee. I should buy stock in that company lord knows I spend enough there.

I also have had comments left that make me think, am I doing this…do I portray myself like that? I’m not saying you did either of those things. Clearly the person that left you that comment intent, was to stir the pot, and to plant the seed of doubt. I do know that with this whole blogging your life for the world to see–there’s going to be some sort of backlash. It’s like you’re keeping the plantation shutters to your house open 24/7. We think we see things as we are walking by from the sidewalk peering in—and we assume plenty. We see your husband and children, we see laughing, lovig, yelling, slamming doors and we piece together stories with what we see or read. Sometimes we’re dead on, and other times we’re completely off. I know it makes us angry when people assume, but we as bloggers must also realize that we are not innocent—we could have shut the blinds. We could have hushed our voices…but we instead wrote it out for others to see. We share on blogs what we don’t share with our own families; we are more open to strangers than to those who share the same last names.

I’d hate to see your comments turned off–then you’d be like dooce. I don’t read people I can’t leave feedback for**–but this is just me.”

    from a recent artice…
Not only are we disappointed, we need to express it. Vent it. Hiss it and spit it and hurl it like fistfuls of mental manure at the great wall of hey, screw you.
You have but to take a peek in the comments section below this column, any column, any article on this or any news site whatsoever, to see just how mean and nasty we have become. It does not matter what the piece might be about…The anonymous comments section of any major media site or popular blog will be so crammed with bile and bickering, accusation and pule, hatred and sneer you can’t help but feel violently disappointed by the shocking lack of basic human kindness and respect, much less a sense of positivism or perspective.
Maybe this, then, is the ultimate upshot of our endless, self-wrought swirl of sour disappointment, of never having our impossible needs fully met, of constantly being thwarted in our desire to have the world revolve around our exact set of specifications and desires.
Our disappointment begins to curdle, to turn back on itself, poison the heart, turn us nasty and low. It shifts from merely being a national mood or general temperament, into a way of being. A wiring, deep and harmful and permanent. It’s all very disappointing, really.

Chickenliver is not quite gone. She moved her blog over to wordpress and now it’s password protected. The plot thickens.

  • 78. Fighting Hypocrisy  |  March 6, 2010 at 9:31 am

    Tammy,
Her blog was on wordpress always and she just used the domain pooponpeeps.com earlier to redirect it to her wordpress blog. You can have that set up with wordpress.

But you are right that she has not gone. I am quite sure some some of the comments here are from her.

  • 79. Em  |  March 6, 2010 at 11:54 am

    Poop On Peeps
By Chicken Liver Closed. Categories: The Poop. I’m no longer here, we’ve MOVED. You’ll need to update your RSS feeds and bookmarks. http://pooponpeeps.com

  • 80. Tammy  |  March 6, 2010 at 2:03 pm

I know she has always used wordpress but now it is password protected whereas before it was a redirect to Poop on Peeps. I just figured she had maybe started posting but with it being password protected we can’t see it. Not that I’m bitching at least it keeps it out of the public eye.

  • 81. Not a conspiracy  |  March 6, 2010 at 4:40 pm

There is no conspiracy – I started an anti poop on peeps blog in wordpress towards the end there when it was getting particularily pyscho over at the orig. poop site. The guest bloggers that posted on there were too much for me. I felt I needed an outlet to speak my mind against the crazies – as I too could not get a rational comment through that mess. I actually plan on deleting it now that she is gone – hopefully for good. Nothing good can come with what Michele did over there!!!

  • 82. The Queen B  |  March 6, 2010 at 7:14 pm

    Joyfully Anonymous,
I think we’re getting your point. Enough with the old links.

  • 83. The Queen B  |  March 6, 2010 at 7:15 pm

Fran – Yes, and it may have been Santa Claus. This is what I hate about this stuff – there was no reason for anyone to jump to conclusions, but yet, everyone does.

  • 84. The Queen B  |  March 6, 2010 at 7:17 pm

    Not a conspiracy,
    What blog was this?

  • 85. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 7, 2010 at 12:35 am

    “Enough with the old links.”

Please enlighten me. What, exactly, is the point of moderating comments with links, allowing the comments with links through to be posted and then whining about them after the fact?

If I didn’t know better (*cough cough*) I would guess that you really do want the links posted but don’t want to make it seem as though you overtly approve of the links, thus the weak protestation coupled with accommodation.

Makes sense, doesn’t it? If you really didn’t want old links posted, you would do the reasonable, obvious thing and simply block the comments that contain them.

    I mean, duh, hello!

  • 86. The Queen B  |  March 7, 2010 at 3:59 am

OMG, Joyfully Anonymous – you’ve found me out. Yes, by golly gosh darn it all, I really did want to have a pile of old links about Chick posted, but just didn’t have the guts to do it. Get over yourself. I approved the comment because I chose to. That’s not to be confused with wanting to. Other than vindictiveness, what exactly is the point of those links? Poop on Peeps is now gone. Chick is done.

I’m damned sure there is no way to win with you. Post the links, you complain, don’t post them and you’d be screaming about that, too. Bottom line, this is my blog, and if I don’t like the tone of things, I will damn well say so. And I really don’t give a flying fuck how you feel about it.

  • 87. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 7, 2010 at 5:21 am

“I approved the comment because I chose to. That’s not to be confused with wanting to.”

I understand. I too make it a habit to choose to do as many things that I don’t want to do as possible. Makes perfect sense to me.

“Other than vindictiveness, what exactly is the point of those links?”

Interesting question. I suppose we could also ask… other than vindictiveness, what exactly is the point of this blog post?

“Poop on Peeps is now gone. Chick is done.”

She’s not gone. She is not done. You just don’t know where to find her.

    I do.

    ;-}

“Post the links, you complain, don’t post them and you’d be screaming about that, too.”

But but but, if you’re not going to post my comments, how would anyone know if I scream or not?

And why are you accusing me of complaining about the links being posted when I have done no such thing and, in fact, it is you who is complaining?

“Bottom line, this is my blog, and if I don’t like the tone of things, I will damn well say so.”

Atta girl! There’s the spunk that will help you CHOOSE to do things you WANT to do with YOUR blog as opposed to being controlled by some nameless, faceless person who might scream at you in a comment no one will ever see.

Whew, I’m relieved. I thought you were on the wrong track for a moment there!

  • 88. Fran  |  March 7, 2010 at 3:03 pm

    You’re absolutely right, QB.

  • 89. Not a conspiracy  |  March 7, 2010 at 5:04 pm

I had set up a site in wordpress I had never activated – I thought she was talking about that – it was pooponpooponpeeps. I lost interest even before I started – Michele is not worth this drama. I see now that Tammy is talking about the original chickenliver wordpress site – I am assuming that she password protected the site to make it unaccessible to cached search? I could be wrong. Either way it really doesn’t matter to me anymore. For now she is underground – and I for one will not actively seek her out.

  • 90. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 7, 2010 at 5:49 pm

Anyone interested in reading the full story plus recent legal updates is free to email me for a link and password to a board where it is all laid out in black and white. There are a number of things that are not being discussed here, or on other open boards, that many of you would find quite enlightening.

It’s not my board but I do have permission to extend this invitation and no, the board is not The Takedown. (She’s a hypocritical chicken shit too.)

When you do email, let me know exactly which name(s) you post under at this board, or elsewhere, because I will look at your history a bit to discern the level of your interest. (In other words, if you’re M’shell, go to Hell.)

if you don’t hear back from me, it means you failed the physical and you reek of chicken shit.

I don’t give a flying fuck about harvesting your email addresses and will delete all emails after either responding or ignoring, but if you don’t want your address in the hands of someone like me (*snort*), best make a new, throwaway address via Yahoo or a similar provider.

Here’s my new, throwaway address. I named it in honor or Michele, the obese “MintyPrincess” with the bad teeth.

  • 96. anon  |  March 9, 2010 at 2:19 am

“the full story plus recent legal updates “…meaning what? more details PLEASE!

  • 97. Tammy  |  March 9, 2010 at 2:31 pm

I think it is pretty unlikely that there is a board somewhere that has all of the info. I mean who would have put it there? Certainly not Michele or any of her friends or minions, and if there is a case against her, I doubt the person bringing any lawsuit would publish the info either. IF there is a message board, then I would imagine that the info on it, would be pure conjecture.
Either way, why not post it here in the comments? With all due respect, having to email (and expose your IP address) to prove your worthiness seems a little weird.

  • 98. Allison  |  March 9, 2010 at 2:54 pm

I agree Tammy! The whole thing feels a little like stalking Michele. I am glad her site is no more. Even if she has another site at least it isn’t as exposed as POP. I don’t know Michele and can’t be personally invested in her troubles and will be be sending an email asking for worthiness to care.

  • 99. Allison  |  March 9, 2010 at 2:54 pm

read that to say will NOT be sending an email…

  • 100. gert.  |  March 9, 2010 at 3:06 pm

personally, i don’t care if it feels like stalking michelle – she’s been a stalker more times then countable, turn the tables. whatevs.

but really – if you’ve got juice, post it here. requesting email addies and ergo, IPs reeks of something …

    (or am i just paranoid?)

  • 101. Tammy  |  March 9, 2010 at 3:30 pm

Not paranoid..I feel the same way, unless of course I am paranoid too..lol. Let’s face it though, nowadays you can’t be too careful.

Don’t get me wrong I am curious as all hell to find out what happened. I totally get what you are saying about the stalking stuff Allison.

I think if Chicken had just been a bitch and been honest about being a bitch noone would have cared too much and they would have probably read her site and taken it with a pinch of salt. It was the whole ‘I’m doing this for the kids’ attitude that was not only transparent and a feeble attempt to hide her vindictiveness but it put a whole different spin on it. The hypocrisy was palpable and I think a lot of people wanted that hypocrisy exposed. Now the site is closed, I think people are looking to see that she DID in fact get exposed. I guess they want to see the period at the end of the very long mean sentence.
I hope I’m making sense, I may not have had enough coffee yet..lol

  • 102. Allison  |  March 9, 2010 at 5:05 pm

Totally makes sense – and I agree I am curious too – just not to the extent like you all that I am going to beg for access. Good ridence chicken shit – hope you never come crawling out of the septic tank again!

  • 103. Allison  |  March 9, 2010 at 5:33 pm

wow that sounded catty – totally worded wrong – I know that no one is going to beg for access – sorry for the confusion!

  • 104. Melissa  |  March 9, 2010 at 5:41 pm

On a whim, I emailed Sunday. What can I say, I was bored. I have yet to have a response. Which leads me to think, bullshit. I’m sorry I sent my email and I’m sorry I invested any energy into Michele McBee.

I’m wish she was gone, but I doubt it. She is in our mist.

  • 105. Sarah  |  March 9, 2010 at 6:34 pm

I’m not an expert on legal matters by any means, but couldn’t you just go straight to the court site and see what’s been filed online yourself? I have no idea what details are or aren’t open to the public. I’m assuming it would depend on the case, but I could be wrong. The full names of both Sandy and Michelle are not exactly secret. Both parties reside in California, so whatever is happening would surely be taking place there. It would only be a matter of finding which county.

That is, if you seemingly had nothing else to do and a way unhealthy interest in Ms. McBee.

  • 106. Katy  |  March 9, 2010 at 7:45 pm

I’m with Melissa; I feel duped.

    Oh well

  • 107. grace  |  March 9, 2010 at 8:55 pm

    Melissa,

Honestly, I don’t think Joyfully Anonymous is really Michele McBee. She proved time and time again that she couldn’t string two sentences together without having some sort of grammar issue.

If there’s one thing Joyfully Anonymous does right, it’s getting her point across – she can definitely convey her thoughts coherently.

  • 108. Melissa  |  March 9, 2010 at 11:04 pm

I didn’t mean AT ALL to imply that JA was Michele. I am sorry to ever imply that.

I just don’t think Michele is gone. But I do think JA is intelligent and articulate. Please accept my apology for even implying that.

  • 109. anon  |  March 9, 2010 at 11:26 pm

For a site called the “Bitch Sessions”, there is not much bitching going on. Queen B – so get the party started already. Pick a topic/blogger and give us a point of view. we’ll follow up with the bitchy comments.

  • 110. grace  |  March 10, 2010 at 1:39 am

Oh, Melissa! Don’t apologize! I probably came across to hastily to also imply that you thought she was the same.

I don’t think Michele McBee is gone, either. I think she’s sitting back and enjoying the stir she’s created. I don’t think she can take not being the center of attention or causing as much of a shit storm as she has in the past. She’s around… lurking, I’m sure.

  • 111. The Queen B  |  March 10, 2010 at 5:02 am

Sorry, anon, I’ll try to be bitchier from now on!

  • 112. The Queen B  |  March 10, 2010 at 5:03 am

I don’t think anyone believes Chick is really gone. I’m pretty sure she’ll turn up again, with a new name and new purpose to her trollish behaviour.

  • 113. The Queen B  |  March 10, 2010 at 5:06 am

    Sarah,
If there was any proof whatsoever that Chick shutting down had anything to do with being actually sued, yes, I’m sure the information coud be obtained through public records. But this is all conjecture at this point, and regardless of what anyone says, I’m not sure there’s a known reason for the shut down.

  • 114. The Queen B  |  March 10, 2010 at 5:12 am

    Tammy,
I’m with you on that one – if she was honest, I could have been much more on board with what she had to say. But the sickening holier-than-thou vibe was too much. The constant assertions that her child, her methods, her home, her skills, whatever, were somehow better than everyone else? Come on. Especially after her real name, and past writings, were exposed, and the truth known.

    Allison, Gert & Melissa,
I know absolutely nothing of whatever site JA was referring to. And I doubt I will. Send an email begging for access? No thanks. Reminds me too much of Margalit wanting to screen everyone for the privelege of reading her crap. If you know anything, and what you are saying is verifiable truth, why hide it?

  • 115. Tammy  |  March 10, 2010 at 4:42 pm

So noone has received the password, despite emailing? hmmm..makes you wonder what the motive was.

  • 116. Fighting Hypocrisy  |  March 12, 2010 at 1:00 am

  • 117. The Queen B  |  March 12, 2010 at 3:38 am

The clearmirror twitter account has been there a long time. I think it was mentioned here in comments, but I know it was sent to me a long time ago. I’m pretty sure it is her personal twitter.

  • 118. Joyfully Anonymous  |  March 12, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Five people have been invited to read the blog. Five people that I know are capable of discretion. Proof is in the pudding. If they weren’t capable of such, they would be cutting and pasting by now.

I’m sure there were others among the many who emailed who are also capable but I really had no way of knowing as most had no visible online footprint.

Only a handful flat out reeked of chicken shit.

The email address has now gone poof, along with all the emails and any personal information they may have contained.

The blog will probably be open to the general public in the near future. Or not.

“So noone has received the password, despite emailing? hmmm..makes you wonder what the motive was.”

Tammy, you really should stop sleeping next to your car’s exhaust pipe.

  • 119. Tammy  |  March 12, 2010 at 5:34 pm

LOL…yeah I guess I should and so should anyone else who believed that crock of shit.

You are such a mouth that I’m pretty sure if you knew anything you’d be spewing it all over the comments…that coupled with all of your other insults and personal attacks that make you falsely believe you are so much smarter than everyone else.

The only one that reeks of chickenshit here, is you.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating..so I guess time will tell if this ‘info’ comes out. I won’t hold my breath…LOL

  • 120. LA  |  March 12, 2010 at 6:37 pm

First I need to state that I am so so so glad that ridiculous blog is gone, I tried to stop reading it so many times because I was so infuriated with her no one can touch me attitude and the fact that she was so delusional that she actually believed she wasnt a hypocrite and the rules she so devoutly preached apparently did not apply to her. The thing is it made me so made that she couldnt see it, and her followers were so intent on spreading her hate and blinded by it that I felt like I couldn’t stop trying to defend the innocent. That combined with just becoming a shift worker that needed something to keep her mind occupied caused me to waste so much time on there. It drove me insane when her supporters and her would say if you dont like what you read dont come here…but the whole blog was based on not liking what she read. GAHHHHH Thanks for letting me getting that off my chest.

The thing that I don’t understand JA, is that for someone who has been openly hating CL and copying and pasting crap and links about her for sometime now on this blog, why the sudden secrecy about this alleged tell all board?

  • 121. Melissa  |  March 12, 2010 at 8:40 pm

Haha. I have no online footprint? I’ve had my “CaffeineJunky” footprint since 2006 and have been online since 1998 when even before bulletin boards where used. I smell chicken shit alright. Just not in the spot that JA thinks.

  • 122. Jules  |  March 12, 2010 at 11:12 pm

Melissa, who are you replying to?

  • 123. grace  |  March 12, 2010 at 11:48 pm

    Jules,

Melissa would be responding to the all-knowing, all powerful JA.

  • 124. anon  |  March 13, 2010 at 1:11 am

anyone know a good site that is like the new ‘Trainwreck.’..the Takedown had promise, I thought. But then, not so much.

  • 125. Tammy  |  March 13, 2010 at 1:25 am

I’m thinking this site is gonna be pretty awesome. I think Qb has some great debating topics.
I kinda like the takedown too from what I saw, but it seems closed. Word is, they are going to resurrect it but I haven’t checked lately… I have the attention span of a gnat..

  • 126. Nonchalant  |  March 13, 2010 at 5:35 pm

JA, you have your reasons, I suppose. I don’t have a web presence under this pseudo for the main reason that I have a blog, I have kids, I have disagreed with CL many times in her comments but I don’t post and link my blog there becasue I’ve never wanted to put my blog or my family in her line of fire. I’m not afraid of it, I just don’t feel like dealing with it. So I can’t complain that you didn’t feel like giving me access to the site, but you had my email addy and if you wanted to look up my “web presence” you certainly could have. You just don’t ring authentic to me.

I think I’m done with the subject for now. CL is gone from the center of the fray for now, its probably none of my business why, and as long as she’s not out here ripping people to shreds, I can let it go. The people who support her have hopefully found other things to do with their lives, or are on the search for a new outlet to spew their vitriolic bile.

  • 127. lynn  |  March 14, 2010 at 4:23 pm

JA you are scary. Your hatred for cl is pycothic, QB you’re pathetic. You are only known because of your hatered for cl. So you’re picking up where she left off and you’re now a good person for it?

The irony of what you do is lost of you and your followers. You are hating on someone because they didn’t like some things on the web but you’re not an annon coward? Why is your being anon any better than CL’s. It’s not.

You’re a bullie coward too then.

  • 128. Katy  |  March 14, 2010 at 11:36 pm

Whatever, JA, you’re sky and credibility are falling.

  • 129. anon  |  March 15, 2010 at 10:43 pm

QB’s only crime is being boring – not a bully or coward. Why is making fun of people who posts ridiculous things on the internet (Sandi) a crime??

Publications actually make money off of being snarky – why can’t a blogger or two join in – on the snarky fun, not necessarily the money?

  • 130. Tammy  |  March 16, 2010 at 12:21 am

See what happens? CL closes down PoP and now all of those hate filled minions are wandering around bumping into trees..lol.

  • 131. anon  |  March 16, 2010 at 3:57 am

comment #130…from the woman who liked the Takedown.

  • 132. Tammy  |  March 16, 2010 at 4:20 am

Yep. Saw it a couple of times and liked it.

  • 133. Katy  |  March 16, 2010 at 12:46 pm

I love the Takedown. The Takedown ladies are intelligent, clever and funny: Attributes that Chicken Liver could never possess. It’s hard to be clever when your parents are related.

One of the best CL Takedowns was on Heartless Bitches Weak of the Week where she tried to tear them down over….. wait for it……..

    SPELLING AND GRAMMAR!

    *snicker*

We all know that CL is very important and never had to bother with such trivial details like spelling and grammar. Her secretary, Irma Fictionstein handled all of her copy editing.

  • 134. Tammy  |  March 16, 2010 at 2:24 pm

    LMAO@ Irma Fictionstein

  • 135. Nonchalant  |  March 16, 2010 at 3:47 pm

    @anon#131 Hi CL!

  • 136. anon  |  March 16, 2010 at 5:01 pm

I’m not CL – I swear! I did appreciate her snark on some bloggers – but never felt the “protecting the kids” thing. Just missing the old days – Violent Acres, Trainwrecks, etc.

  • 137. The Queen B  |  March 16, 2010 at 7:47 pm

Katy – I loved that Weak of the Week article – especially where Chick goes on about “The writers that you so mercilessly dissect are merely contributing to the wonderful social chaos that is our world, as do you. However, unlike you, their contributions do not come at the expense of your humiliation and embarrassment. How and why you believe that your ruthless critiques could possibly motivate anyone to excel or improve herself to your satisfaction is a mystery.”

What happened to all that “wonderful social chaos” when it came time for Poop on Peeps?

Anyone know what happened to The Takedown, by the way?

  • 138. pmc  |  March 17, 2010 at 12:36 am

I’m deleting all remnants of my connection to this site…what a disappointment. No matter how much you look at it…you’re spending too much time on cyber-relationships. Who could keep up/keep track??? Best to all of you.

  • 139. Katy  |  March 17, 2010 at 12:43 am

Dear pmc, thank you for taking the time to tell us how to spend our cyber time! Don’t let the door hit ya………

According to Lilith, they have been busy with other things. I miss the Takedown.

  • 140. Tammy  |  March 17, 2010 at 3:10 am

    That’s a shame PMC. :o(

  • 141. Tammy  |  March 17, 2010 at 3:10 am

okay that was supposed to be a sad face..lol

  • 142. Just in case you're interested  |  March 17, 2010 at 10:39 pm

Lilith from The Takedown posted something on her twitter, yesterday. It’s just a link to something, but I was glad to see her reappearance. I like Lilith!

  • 143. anon  |  March 18, 2010 at 8:03 pm

OMG – if Sandi wanting to get every part of her remade by a plastic surgeon and Pioneer Woman getting a movie deal isn’t enough to pull CL out of hiding, I don’t know what would!

  • 144. Tammy  |  March 18, 2010 at 9:45 pm

LOL I saw that too and I swear Sandi did it intentionally to see if CL would bite.

  • 145. anon  |  March 18, 2010 at 9:51 pm

I thought that too Tammy. I think that Sandi is such an attention whore, and her #s are down now that CL does not give her traffic, so she wrote that to bait people.

  • 146. The Queen B  |  March 18, 2010 at 9:53 pm

What? Pioneer Woman is getting a movie? Tell me it’s not based on that Black Heels stuff?

  • 147. anon  |  March 18, 2010 at 10:49 pm

It is apparently true – about her “story” – from hip LA girl to Pioneer Woman. Reese Witherspoon is to play her. Can you stand it? Me neither.

  • 148. Fran  |  March 21, 2010 at 2:10 am

And now Melissa of Suburban Bliss has posted CL’s home address on her blog. Wow, the mommybloggers are AWESOME!

  • 149. intrigued  |  March 21, 2010 at 5:35 pm

    omggg

  • 150. anon  |  March 21, 2010 at 10:06 pm

If you mean “awesome” as idiotic – then you are correct.

  • 151. Jules  |  March 21, 2010 at 10:17 pm

the hilarious part about melissa summer’s post are the comments from people saying they hate when people do things like publish private information. jesus herbert christ, talk about an echo chamber. also, LMAO at joyfully anonymous’ bullshit here. she’s all talk, what a shocker. haha

  • 152. val  |  March 21, 2010 at 11:17 pm

Gah, what an idiot, also I call bullshit on her.
CL for all her faults she did not publish people private address and information.

Melissa Summers you are an idiot.

  • 153. Just in case you're interested  |  March 22, 2010 at 6:48 am

Is there a part of Sandi’s body that she actually feels she can put up with??? How sad to feel so crappy about yourself that you are willing to put yourself through hours and hours of elective surgery only to end up looking like an alien-freak who is always surprised!

I only hope that SOMEONE stops her before she begins slicing and dicing. What an insecure woman, she is. She has not yet realized that working on the inside is much more productive than making yourself appear to be a plastic-face. What a fool.

And as far as Melissa putting CL’s home address out there after CL has closed up shop. Nothing like kicking someone when they are down, Melissa. You know that you live on the very same level as CL does by doing what you did. That is why this round and round crap will never die. When the “bully” backs away, the poor bullied souls then become bullies. You DESERVE each other. CL was gross, but you are even grosser. Does that make you feel all strong and powerful now? Melissa = CL…….

  • 154. Jules  |  March 22, 2010 at 1:28 pm

^^ Apparently Melissa is not as smart as she thinks she is. Either that or her fans are pretty dumb and sycophantic. Maybe both.

  • 155. Allison  |  March 22, 2010 at 3:03 pm

Jules – Melissa posted info easily found through white pages.com -anyone who cared to look could have found that info…how does that make Melissa a hypocrit? Did you read what chicken shit wrote about her daughter? Did you know that the chicken posted Melissa’s address? Put yourself in her shoes – Michele Mcbee deserves everything she gets – she dished it out too long not to expect the same in return. I would call that karma – but call it what you will…

  • 156. Jules  |  March 22, 2010 at 4:41 pm

^^ Allison, so since it was publically available information, that makes it ok? And I think if CL posted personal info it’s just as bad; but if it was also publically available, that makes it ok too? Are you sure you want to use that as your justification? I’ll give you a chance to re-think that one.

  • 157. Brooke  |  March 22, 2010 at 4:55 pm

    Allison,

CL NEVER posted anyone’s address, so I call bullshit on that. Melissa just needed to justify it.

I hope Melissa’s advertisers see her in a new light. I don’t know if walmart and the others want to be associated with a woman whom put out other’s personal information so she can be stalked and harassed.

  • 158. Allison  |  March 22, 2010 at 5:30 pm

I think that if someone came out and attacked my daughter – telling the world she had teeth like a horse under the guise of “helping her” from my oversharing – then yes – I think she deserves everything she gets – anyone who googles michele or alan will get this info quite easily….And if you remember – CL used that justification all the time – that it is public info…

  • 159. Jules  |  March 22, 2010 at 5:31 pm

Again, I think it’s wrong that CL published personal information. So it’s ok for certain people to act like fucking assholes but not others?

  • 160. Allison  |  March 22, 2010 at 6:03 pm

Hey – we can agree to disagree here – no need to cuss

  • 161. Jules  |  March 22, 2010 at 6:09 pm

    Sorry 😦

  • 162. Fran  |  March 22, 2010 at 7:58 pm

To be fair, CL said MELISSA could eat an apple through a picket fence. Melissa’s literacy wasn’t quite working. She did say that Melissa hadn’t bought her daughter a retainer.
I still think CL is a dick, and snarking on peoples’ looks isn’t cool, but I think that Melissa’s a dick, too.

  • 163. anon  |  March 22, 2010 at 9:47 pm

Honestly, who needs CL when these bloggers just make themselves look so stupid.

    Melissa – cowardly and immature.

Sandi – where to start? Her yakking about all her plastic surgery and 18K to fix her vagina? Or her posting about her husband getting ready to leave her (and really how can you blame him)?

    just an opinion

  • 164. Just in case you're interested  |  March 23, 2010 at 12:32 am

Sandi’s husband is getting ready to leave her? I guess I haven’t gone over there in a while! I cannot say that it surprises me. The chaos that that woman desires in order to survive must be crazy-making. Those poor kids. They will end up being the casualties in her mess of a world.

And yes, these bloggers do make themselves look ridiculous.

    Just another opinion…

  • 165. Wondering  |  April 1, 2010 at 12:06 am

Oh boy, Sandi is complaining about the “complaints” that she receives again! Of course she must do so on her blog and not behind the scenes. Yuck. She is a piece of work. Such an unhappy whiner.

Where is CL when we need her?

  • 166. Wondering  |  April 9, 2010 at 10:07 pm

    Where did you go, QB?
